Hi Stewart,
Yes, we will do a plague foryou with the 1911 date, which I also believe is the most appropriate. It may take 4 to
6 months as we wait for a group to put through at one time. I will send a postcard to you when the plague is
ready. The postcard is used to exchange for the plague when it is ready.
I still have not been able to find info prior to 1902 on your house, although the 1897 map clearly shows the
house. My educated guess is 1895-96, but it becomes moot with the 1911 remodel.
I did find out that Mrs. Kidd did not actually live in the house. She rented out 404 17th. The 1907 Directory lists
a George Betts, a teamster, living there atthattime. The 1926 directory does list Emma Skinner, the owner
then, actually living in the house at that time. We have no additional info on any of the above people.
Unfortunately, we have no early photos of the house.
