"She floats through the air with the greatest of ease..." One of PG's two
log cabins - this one properly called a log house - built at 505 Chestnut
in 1902 or 1903 for Charles Howard and the home of Agneeta and Philip
Pedro and their family from 1945 to 1996, last week was moved by its
new owner, local realtor Larry Scholink, closer to the southwest corner of
its wide lot. This will enable Scholink to put the log house on a solid foun-
dation and restore it. He expects to build another house near the north
end of the property and perhaps to add further improvements if and when
water becomes available.
