Matthew George Saeger of She]-
ton. He died in a traffic accident
on May 21. He was 33,
He was born on December 12,
1961 and reared in the Shelton
area. He was a descendant of the
pioneer Saeger family from Isa-
bella Valley. He attended Shelton
High School.
Mr. Saeger was a builder and
was employed for 11 years as a
framing foreman by Fredson
Homes, Incorporated. He de-
signed and built his own house
and used his skills to help family,
friends and neighbors with their
own projects.
He enjoyed music, the moon-
tains and his motorcycle. He is
remembered for his generosity
and sense of humor. He liked to
give red roses to people.
Survivors include his parents,
Don and Anita Saeger of Shelton;
his brother, Alan Saeger of Shel-
ton; his sisters, Donda Waggoner
of Sunnyside, Cathy Cochran of
Olympia and Bev Weddle of
Methow; his aunts, Jeanne
Saeger of Shelton and Beverly
Horst Andrews of Fremont, Cali
fornia; and numerous nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Nondenominational memorial
services are scheduled to be held
from noon to pm. on Friday,
May 26, in the Cultural Hall at
the Church of Jesus Christ Lat-
ter-day Saints, 1200 Connectio

ents, Don and Anita, Shelton; one
