This addition appears on the 1926 map, indicating that it was installed
between 1914 and 1926.
Permit 1733, 5/28/1925: Construction of garage.
No permit number. no date, circa 19403: Replace window sash in front bay,
with a fixed three-
light sash, flanked by three-light casement windows. While this alteration
is not permitted, the
three-light wood windows were common in buildings of the late 19303 to
19403.
' N0 permit number, no date, circa 1940s -1960$: Enclosure of original
comer front porch. Move
original entrance on north elevation back, install shed roofed entry porch
and stairs on north
elevation; construct similar shed roofed entry porch and stairs at rear of
north elevation at the
northwest building corner. These additions do not appear on the 1926 Sanbom
map with 1962
update, indicating that the porch enclosure and north elevation additions
were installed after
1962. However, the enclosed front porch contains single-light wood casement
windows that
were common in the 19405; and the north elevation entry porches and stairs
are constructed of
post-World War II construction materials, suggesting that the actual
construction dates of these
additions may be prior to 1962.
