Dear Mr. & Mrs. Correia & Mrs. Nagy,
I am responding to your request for a refinished plague.
Unfortunately, the plague on your house is in error. The
plague refers to the first house on your property, not the
current house which was built sometime after 1926.
refer to the enclosed maps of 1914 and 1926. The
shows the original house, but the 1926 map shows a
CE-
lot.
The tax assessor records (also please see enclosed)
indicate that there was no structure on the vacant lot from
1916 thru at least 1926.
When the original plague was awarded in July 1982, we did not
have the maps or tax information after 1901. Since then, we
have acquired this vital information. Your house is
obviously an older house, but I would estimate 1929-1934. I
checked at the planning department, but they had nothing to
indicate its construction date. They suggested the owner
visit the Assessor's office in Salinas and ask to see the
Assessor's Work Sheet for the house. It may indicate the
year of construction .. or if the house was moved there from
another location. The Assessor's office will only show this
info to the owner of record.
I'm truly sorry we cannot give you another plague and I
apologize for the earlier error.
Sincerely,
1 41
