T.]. Richardson, known as "The Artist of Alaska", lived for awhile in Pacific
Grove. The 1907 city directory lists his studio andresidence as 127 Grand
Avenue. In 1911 he moved to 113 Fountain. Inside this issue, you will find
an article on his life, including his time in Pacific Grove, written by Sarah].

ing its annual Heritage House Awards as part of National Preserva
tion Week. We are now actively soliciting nominations of
structures in Pacific Grove for one of our awards. Ifyou know of
an old structure in your neighborhood that was significantly fixed
up during 1996, please send us a note at P.O. Box 1007 in PG or
call us at 372-2898 and leave a message. Thank you.
