Third Annual 100-Year Party
and Walking Tour
On Sunday, September 8, the Pacific Grove
Heritage Society will hold the Third Annual
Centennial Birthday Party at the Margaret f
Tennant House, 312 Central Avenue, in Pacific
Grove from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This event is
being held in recognition of 15 Pacific Grove
Houses (all built in 1885) celebrating their 100th
birthday this year. Birthday cake and beverages
will be served. Entertainment will again be
provided by the "Plus Four Limited" barbershop
quartet.
All Pacific Grove residents are welcome to
attend. Current Heritage Society members are
t especially invited to attend at no cost. A $1.00
donation is suggested for non-members.
Memberships to cover the remainder of 1985 and
all of 1986 will be available at the party for
$10.00.
The party will be indoors at the Tennant
House and you will be able to view the interior
of the first floor. A free printed guide will be
available at the house for anyone wishing to take
the self-guided walking tour of the 15 100- year
old houses.

Saturday Night, October 12, 1985
Tickets are now available at the Barn on
Wednesday through Saturday afternoons for $7.50
each or two for $15.00. Tickets are limited and
a sell-out is expected. Please get your tickets
now.
