Dalton Dulac, 40, who has
been named ranger of the
Detroit District in the Wil-
liamette National Forest, .
The Detroit. District has the
largest, most complex work
loads in the Northwest Re- |
gion, Forest Service spokes- I
men said. Dulac has been
ranger of the Monte Cristo J
District since 1970.
Dahlin holds a degree in
forest management from
Oregon State University. He
has worked for the past two
years on the special land I
use study team that has I
drawn the Forest Service I
proposed for a wilderness in I
the Alpine Lakes Area be- I
tween Stevens and Sno- I
qualmie passes in the Cas- I
cade Mountains. Pre-1
viously, he has worked as I
an assistant ranger at for-1
est districts in Oregon and I
