We have reviewed the plans for the above referenced house.
It is sad that these changes are already complete. This is a
project that obviously would have benefitted greatly from
going through the ARB process.
The aluminum windows and steel-framed doors are not
appropriate for this structure. The boxed-in chimney is not
appropriate either, although the chimney it replaced was not
originally built with the house. Also, we are not sure that
the knotty pine(?) will hold up as well as the clear wood
previously used.
