He was an environmental scien~
tist for Lhe Department of Ecology
He was a member of Faith Presby-
terian Church of Tacoma. The
Gideons, The National Rifle Associa-
tion and the St. Martin’s College
Alumni Association.
Mr. Pace enjoyed fly fishing,
camping, hiking, woodworking,
gardening, volunteering with the
forest service. sailing. boat building,
community theater. playing the
banjo, guitar and harmonica, and
singing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary
Pace of Thmwater; a son, Jeffrey L.
Face of Kent; three daughters, Mar—
garet M. Pace and Anna C. Pace,
both of Tumwater, and Ianese M.
Taylor of Kent; a sister, Paralee Mcr
Coy of Palm Beach, Fla; and three
grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin at 7
pm. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Faith Pres-
byterian Church, 620 8. Shirley St.,
Tacoma.
Interment will be at 1 pm. Thurs»
day, Dec. 2, at Olympic Memorial
Gardens. Tumwater.
Arrangements are by Olympic Fu-
neral Home, Tumwater.
