Romola Gallagher
Romola C. Gallagher, a 30-year
resident of Shelton, died Satur—
day, June 28, of natural causes at
Fir Lane Health and Rehabilita—
tion Center in Shelton. She was
80.
She was born November 22,
1916, to Olaf and Thora (Reep)
Rust in Seattle. She graduated
from Everett High School in 1934,
and from Pacific Lutheran Uni-
versity in Parkland in 1937 with
a teaching degree. She attended
refresher courses at the Universi-
ty ofWashing’ton in 1958.
She was married to Joseph
Gallagher on June 26, 1942, in
Everett. He preceded her in
death,
Mrs. Gallagher taught in
several school districts including
Snohomish, Everett, Seattle,
Lake Washington, Edmonds,
Cape Flattery, Southside and
Pioneer. She was a member of
various music clubs, church
choirs and the Sons of Norway.
She enjoyed music, including
playing the piano and singing.
Mrs. Gallagher is survived by
sons Ross Gallagher and Bruce
Gallagher, both of Shelton, and
by six grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held
on Monday at Faith Lutheran
Church of Shelton. lnnrnment
was at Shelton Memorial Park.
