In reviewing our files, we do not find any record of an inspection having been
made regarding this Building Permit during the past five months.
Please be aware that according to the Uniform Building Code: "Every permit
shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work
authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 days from the date of
such permit, or ifthe building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or
abandoned at any time after the work is commenced, a new permit shall be first
obtained" (Uniform Building Code, Section 303-d).
This means that you must have an inspection or an on-site visit by the Building
Inspector within six months (180 days) ofthe issuance ofthe Building Permit, or
since the last inspection, to assure that the Building Permit is kept active.
Please call the Building Division at to set up an inspection or a site visit
to keep your permit active. If you have completed all work, please call to set up a
final inspection.
If you have already scheduled an inspection please disregard this letter.
