Ma is baking and the washer woman is here. We gave the house an
extra cleaning because Leon is coming tonight. Wrote to Bess Wed- sent
two baby pictures. Gave Elienor & brother a lesson. We ironed until ten
in evening and got things ready for Leon but he did not come.
April Sat Ist
Edwin dropped in this morning to see us- he and Fair came in on
last night's train. Gave Helen, Author Lee and Forest Paula lesson. Ed
81 Pau[ spent the evening with us and we had some music and 1 made
some penuchie candy.
Sun, 1nd
The music went off nicely, Carol played piano. Poor [itt[e Flora is
sick. Taught my 5.5. class. 1 staid to church with Ed & Fair. in the later
part Of the afternoon we went down to the beach and enjoyed watching
the waves and throwing rocks & pebbles- seeing who was the best start.
Took a little tramp in the inc [?]
Mon. 3rd.
Mrs. Wright, Ed and 1 spent the forenoon at Macabee beach.
Practiced and gave Forest Paul a lesson. Mrs. Paul pd. Five on vio[in.
Tues 46
Fixed up front bedroom some. 1 am going to sleep there now. Gave
Helen a [esson & Pete Little pd. $5.00. Took a bath & practiced in the
evening.
Wed 5
Put the house in order. Ma baked a head and 1 made a [arge walnut
cream cake. We put our lunch up so to have everything ready for the
morrow. Gave Forest Paul a lesson. Had a good orchestra practice in the
evening.
