The Questionnaire
By now you should have received the questionnaire that our co-presidents sent to us.
Based on the number of blank lines and question marks, I think they want us to answer
them. Just a guess on my part but long experience in the government has taught me the
more questions marks there are, the more the level of importance goes up and the desire
for some answers. My advice, answer the questions and bring it to the meeting. Jody and
Sue would like to have a discussion about the answers and results at the meeting. I’ll
answer couple of them right now.
Would you recommend any favorite books for research?
Yes.*
What would you like to see covered in future meetings?
Projects that we could do as a group, and hands on research that would give all of us a
sense on how some processes work. Learn how to winnow the results of computer
searches to arrive at the best answer or candidate. We have a small enough group that
we could try some of this at our meetings. Or…How difficult would it be if we decided to
photograph all the headstones in Mason County and make them available online?

First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the

provided by you or others, rebuttals, opinions, and other information such as court-ordered
legal notices, and historical and statistical data.
