Saunders on May 24, 1961 in Wa-
halla, South Carolina
He retired from the Washing-
ton, D.Ci, Police Department in
1973 and worked as a private in-
vestigator, machinist and Excep-
tional Foresters caregivert
He enjoyed sailing, chess and
playing the guitar and mandolin
He loved speaking Russian and
Spanish and was always on the
computer, his family said
His parents preceded him in
death.
Surviving are wife Elizabeth
Hall of Shelton; sons James Hall
of Sedro Woolley, Eric Hall of
Shelton, Duane Hall of Olympia
and John Hall of Eatonville; sis-
ters Charlotte Sexton of Inman,
South Carolina, and Nola Frisbee
of Candler, North Carolina; broth-
ers Walter Hall and Doug Hall of
South Carolina and Mike Hall of
Asheville, North Carolina; seven
grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren
A funeral service will he held at
1 pm, on Monday, August 20, at
Hope Chapel, 421 West E Street
in Shelton. Pastor Darrell Fris<
bee will officiate Burial will be at
Shelton Memorial Park.
