Ole Ramsfield ’
Ole Ramsfield, a Shelton resi-
dent since 1952, died on Sunday,
May 7, at Saint Peter Hospital in
Olympia. He was 91.
He was born on September 10,
1914 in Colgan,
North Dakota,
to Knute and
Johanna (Berve)
Ramsfield.
He Worked
in Boise, Idaho,
Noti, Oregon,
McCleary and
Shelton. His
jobs varied but
he was able to
paint anything
from airplanes
to houses, his 01
family said. He e
also painted cars Eamsfield
and trucks. He
worked for Simpson Timber Come
pany for 15 years at the Insulated
Board Plant, then went into con-
struction until he retired.
Mr. Ramsfield loved bowling,
horseshoes, camping, shuffle board,
spending time with his grandchil-
dren, and savoring a cold beer.
He was preceded in death by
sons Gary Ramsfield in 1950 and
Joe Ramsfield in 1984.

Union, and Jay Ramsfield and his
wife Cindy of Shelton; daughter»
in-law Carolyn McGrath of She]-
ton; brother Robert Ramsfield of
Wiliston, North Dakota; sisters Jen
Stewart of Chicago, Illinois, Nora
Rodne of Harvey, North Dakota,
and Gladys Amundson of Wiliston;
21 grandchildren, 15 great-grand-
children, and two great—great-
grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held
at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at
Shelton Memorial Park. Pastor
”Paul Clement will officiate.
