Adeline O. Zorn of Shelton died
on April 13 at Saint Peter Hospital
in Olympia. She was 83.
She was born in Colorado
Springs, Colorado, to Joseph A.
and Addie M. (Lewis) Schmoeger.
Shelivedin Phoenix,Arizona,from
1936 to 1982. She was employed
there as a buyer and manager for
Korricks Department Store before
retiring in 1964. She was very
active in the Saint Mary’s Altar
Society.
After moving to Shelton to be
near her son, Jack, she became a
member of Saint Edward’s Catho~
lic Church, the Ladies ofthe Elks
Lodge and Emblem Club 477. She
had been a volunteer at the Saints’
Pantry food bank since its incep-
tion.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Clifford R. Zorn, in
1982. Survivors include her son,
Jack L. Zorn of Shelton; her
daughter, Shirley Holstin of Phoe-
nix; nine grandchildren, 14 great
grandchildren and four great-
great—grandchildren.
Evening vigil services were held
April 17 at Saint Edward’s Catho-
lic Church. The Reverend Dominic
Hahn of the Order of Saint Bene-
dict oflicated at a Mass of Chris-
tian Burial held at Saint Edward’s
on April 18. Arrangements were by
