Former Shelton resident Mauv
rice H. “Rocky” Bone Sr. died of
pneumonia Thursday, July 27, at
his home in Woodland Park, Colo-
rado. He was 49.
He was born February 19, 1950
at Rocky Boy Indian Reservation
in Montana to Clifford and Marie
Tuller.
He lived in Colorado for the
past six years. Prior to that, he
lived in Everett with his brother,
Fred, and his wife, Gloria Schinr
dler. He lived in Shelton during
the late 19705 and early 19805.
Mr. Bone was a military veter~
an of the Vietnam war. After he
returned from Vietnam, he went
to Mellen, Wisconsin, to visit a
friend. There he met and married
Linda White.
The family moved to Minot,
North Dakota, where he worked
as a telephone lineman.
While living in Washington, he
worked for Potelco, a line compa-
ny in Tacoma. He also did carpen-
try work in North Dakota and
Washington.
Nine years ago, he fell from a
house and broke his back and was
disabled.
His family said he loved people
and would do anything for any
one.
He was preceded in death by
his brother, Fred.
Survivors include his sons,
Maurice H. “Rocky" Bone of
Puyallup, Shaun Bone of Shelton
and Allen Bone of North Dakota;
daughter Naomi Frank of Shel»
ton; sisters Rosalee tobp and'her
husband Mike of Colorado
Springs, Colorado, and Millie Par-
sons of Colorado Springs, Colora-
do; former wife Linda Jones of
Shelton; stepbrothers Arvel Tull-
er and Morland Tuller of Shelton.
Also surviving are sister-in-law
Gloria Schindler of Everett; step-
sister Laural Townsend and her
husband Emmet of Spanaway;
four grandchildren; and compan—
ion Cindy Case of Woodland Park,
Colorado.
A graveside service will be held
at 2 pm. Wednesday) August 9,
at Shelton Memorial Park. Mike
Potts of the Church of Jesus of
Latter-day Saints will officiate.
