Central Park -West, in her seventy-
fourth year. Dr. Lukens was born ·In
Philadelphia. and was a member of one
of the• oldest families there. She re-
celved her medical education at the
Women's Hospital. graduating in 1868.
She waa for many years in practice
here, being at ono time resident physt-
clan at the New York Numery und
Child's HospitaL She retired . fifteen
years ago.
