Blanch Caldwell
Blanch Flora (Charron) Cald-
well, 84, passed away at her home
in Cochise, Arizona, following a
long illness. She was the widow of
Pay M. Caldwell.
A North Mason County resident
for 45 years, she was born April 12,
1904, in Alvada, New Mexico. She
was raised in South Bend, where
she married her husband of 53
years on October 8, 1921. Mr. Cald-
well died in 1974.
In South Bend, she was an active
member of the American Legion
Post 39. In 1940 she and her family
built their home and moved to Bel~
fair until she moved to Cochise in
1985.
Mrs. Caldwell was a member of
the Star of the Sea Catholic Church
in Bremerton, of the Navy Mothers
Club and the Bear Creek Commu-
nity Club.
She enjoyed playing cards, knit»
ting, Crocheting and working in her
yard. She was very proud of her
giant dahlias which took blue rib-
bons at the Western Washington
State Fair in Puyallup.
Mrs. Caldwell is survived by
three sons, Fay Caldwell of Hood
Canal, Jack Caldwell of Scio, Ore-
gon, and Gary Caldwell of Cochise;
two sisters Nonie Brower and Eva
Ellis of Aberdeen; a sister-in-law,
Marion Charron of Long Beach;
seven grandchildren, 15 great-
grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
Mrs. Caldwell was preceded in
death, in addition to her husband,
by her broth er, Eddie Charron, J12,
and sisters Ida Hufi’er, Delma King
gland Bertha Hargns. ,'

vices. Cremation was under the
direction of Wetlawn Chapel and
Mortuary, Wilcox, Arizona.
