Fllesi P.Manu Filesi Pisimai Manu, 69, Shelton, died Saturday, May 22, 1993, in Shelton She was born Nov. 26, 1923, to Sale Teila and Nesa (Fiso) Menu, in Safotu Savaii, Samoa. She was the oldest member of the Shelton Samoan community, Filesi Manu was a member of the Shelton First Ward of the Chumh of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints. She enjoyed playing the accordion and piano and also enr joyed sewing and handmafts‘ Surviving are six sons, Ueni “Wayne” Wily, Teila Wily, Ionataga Tausa and Iakopo Tausa, all of She- lton, Kuinise Wily, Hawaii, and Ma Wily, Independence, Mo.; four daughters, Kan'te Fonoti, Western Samoa, and Oliperice Haddock, Moana Kinne and Nesa Hones, all of Shelton; two brothers, Tenari Mauu, Hawaii, and Alapati Mann, Federal Way; two sisters, Nesa Blakely and Eterei Maiava, both of Shelton; also 43 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Filesi Manu will begin at 11 am. Friday, May 2a, in the Shelton First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bishop Kerry Murdock will officiate.
