Dear Sirs:
I wish to make a complaint about the Planning Department of Pacific
Grove.
Neighbbors noticed work was being done without a permit, whereby
an addition of perhaps 4' was extending a house out of conformity.
The Planning Department stopped the work while a permit was under
consideration, and under protest from neighbors, issued th e permit. More
protest insued, b y way of correspondence on file at the Planning Department.
The permit is being permitted to stand.
The addition in question is a matter of whether or not the addite J

was an ancient shed, attached to the siding of the house with a single arm, clealry

As the permit was belated, the Planning Department didn't see the
original sitiuation.
To make a sojd addition to a house and call it replacement of an
ancient shed, open to the elements and without flooring is an absurdity.
