store, died
of natural
causes on

August 3,
at Saint
PeterHos-
pital in
Olympia.
He was 77
and lived
in Shelton
43 years.
He was

in Yelm to Wilmot and
Emma (Fennel) Lemag-ie.
He grew up in Mineral
and Tacoma and gradu-
ated from Stadium High
School in Tacoma in 1948.
George
Mr. Lemagie married
Lois M. Norwood on De-
cember 23, 1950 in Ta-
coma. They lived in Taco-
ma until 1965 when they
moved to Shelton.
He Worked for Safeway
Stores for 37 years before
retiring in 1985.
He was an avid golfer
and gardener, sharing the
bounty with his friends.
He enjoyed fishing, base-
ball and all sports in gen-
eral. Card games Were
a favorite pastime, es-
pecially games with his
grandchildren. He loved
watching his children and
grandchildren in all their
various sporting events.
For the past 21 years, he
and Mrs Lemag‘ie enjoyed
spending several winter
months as snowbirds in
Hemet, California.
Surviving are his wife
of 57 years, Lois Lemagie
of Shelton; son George Le-
mag'ie of Santa Barbara,
California; daughters Dr.
Susan Lemagie and spouse
John Fairfield of Palmer,
Alaska, Karen Lemagie of
Hansville and Nancy Bo-
lender and husband John
of Shelton.
Also surviving are
grandchildren Matthew
and Sarah Lemag‘ie and
Margaret Fairfield, Mara,
Emily and Samantha Le-
magie and Erin and Juli
Bolender; brother Rich-
ard Lemagie of Tacoma;
and sister Diane Leon of
Utah.
A celebration of his life
will be held from 3 to 5
p.m. on Saturday, August
9, at Bayshore Golf Club
in Shelton.
In lieu of floweLs, Ame-
morial donations may be
made to a charity of the
donor’s choice.
Arrangements are by
