Dear Hope:
This is in response to your January 22, 2011 request for a replacement plague for your
cottage located at 233 M Park St After researching our records at the Barn and those at
CDD (P.G. City Hall), a recommendation of approval was presented to the Heritage
Society's full Board on May 3, 2011, and was approved. In addition, in our recent
conversation, you also requested a replacement plague for your main house at 233 Park
St.,because of weathering and a knot that detracts from the plaques appearance. I agree
with you that it needs replacing and a replacement plague will also be made.
Tax records on the 233 16 home indicated that the original owner was Arthur Van
DeBogart and that the house was built in 1904. The aforementioned name and date will
appear on the 233 M plague. The name and date on the replacement plague for 233 Park
St. i.e., Thomas P. Braise 1889, will not change.
Normal turn around time for completion of a plague is two to four months, depending on
the volume ofrequests we have.
If you have any further questions please contact the P.G. Heritage Society at:
.
Thank you again for your interest.
Respecilly, Jim Hogan, Heritage Society Research Team.
