This is the first I have heard of these requests. Don't know if Don has looked into these or not, but I will check it out this
week. As far as learning how to access the database and updating the Research Team form I will give it a shot. but am
not a computer geek and not interested in becoming a proficient Apple operator. I just don't have the time and have
enough challenges with my (agonizingly slow) seven year old Dell computer, due for replacement soon. Not trying to be
diffcult, just realistic and honest Take care. --- On Sat, 2/27/10, The Heritage Society of Pacific Grove

Subject: Question?
My name is Gordon Swolgaard and I grew up in Pacific Grove in the 1950's and 1960"s. I do wish I
still lived there. I was reminded about a week ago of a gentleman who used to sell Hot Dogs and Ice
Cream out of an old beautiful truck painted in bright colors down by Lovers Point. 1 believe we used to
call him Frank. His little concession was very popular and his food was very good. It was a treat to us
kids when we got to go get a Hot Dog from Frank. Sometimes he would park as far over as the fog
horn but he was always there. I saw an old Hot Dog Truck just like his about a week ago and that
brought up some pleasant and comforting memories. I was wondering if in your Historical Archives
you may have something written about this wonderful man and maybe a photo of his truck. If you do
and if there is a charge for this information please let me know. My Email address
