Claudia A. Bailey, 84, a resident
of Shelton for 49 years, died Mon-
day, Nov. 7, 1994, in Shelton,
She was born Jan. 28, 1910 to
Clyde E. and Florence (Sanger)
Barry in Olympia.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of the
First Christian Chumh in Shelton.
She was also a member of the Dirt
Dobbers Garden Club in Shelton.
She was a mother, grandmother,
and great-grandmother who was
dedicated to her family and loved
spending time with her grandchil-
dren. She enjoyed knitting, cro-
cheting, and reading. She also en-
joyed taking trips and going to the
ocean.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by two
daughters, Barbara Sorenson, She-
lton, Andrea Goetz, Olympia; one
sister, Beverly A, Diseth, Olympia;
eight grandchildren, seven great-
grandchildren, and one nephewt
She was preceded in death by her
husband Robert AH, Bailey in
1966.
A memorial sevice will be held at
11 am. Wednesday, Nov. 9, in First
Christian Church, Shelton Pastor
Bruce Thacker will officiate. In-
umment will be in Shelton Memo-
rial Park, Shelton.
The family suggests memorial
donations may be made to the
Heart Association or to The Little
Red Wagon, c/o Victory Christian
Center, P40. Box 144, Olympia,
Wash. 98502.
