RollaVl. Halborl Rolls Wi Halberl, 37, a resident of Shelton for 55 years, died Sat- urday, Dec. 24, 1994, in Capital Medical Center, Olympia. He was born Oct 15, 1907, in Kansas to William and Jenieve (Brubacher) Halbert He graduated from the University of et Sound and completed one year gradu- ate studies at the University of Washington He married Vivian F Smith in Tacoma in 1933 Mr. Halbert lived in Port Angeles in 1934 and worked as a chemist for Rayonier for 39 years before moving to Shelton. In the early 19505, he passed the bar and was the patent liaison for Rayonier. Mr. Halbert was also a District Conn and police judge for 10 years in Mason County. His memberships included the Masonic Lodge in Shelton, the She— lton Bayshore Golf Club the She- lton Dance Club, the Square Dance Club and Toastmasters. Surviving Mr. Halbert are his wife, Vivian, Shelton; a daughter, Jacqueline Beuchner, New York City; three sons, Rolla Wi “Troy” Jr,, Seattle, Dr. Sheridan, Bothel, and Clinton, Shelton; a sister, Enid Olsen, Sun City, Calif.; 11 grand- children; and five yeat— grandchildren At Mr. Halbert’s request, no ser- vices will be held.
