Vernon H. Remsberg, 67, She-
lton, died Monday, Sept. 28, 1992, in
his home.
He was born to Everett and Mi-
nnie Mae (Hardin) Remsberg on
July 18, 1925, in Inla, Kansas.
Mr. Remsberg had served in the
US. Navy during WWII and the
Korean War Conflict.
He moved to Shelton in 1946,
where he had been employed as an
accountant for the Simpson Timber
Company. He had also served on
the Board of Directors for the Si-
mpson Employees Federal Credit
Union. Retiring from Simpson in
1984, he then worked as an accoun-
tant for Shelton Structures, retiring
in December of 1991.
Mr, Remsberg was a member
and past treasurer for the Shelton
Bayshore Golf Club, and he was a
member of the Active Club of She-
lton.
Surviving Mr. Remsberg are his
wife, Phyllis I., Shelton; two daugh-
ters, Cindi Amadio, Aptos, Calif.,
Julie Clary, Santa Cruz, Calit; two
sons, Scott Bellingham, Brett E.,
Felton, Calif; three step-sons, Dick
Pasalich, Shelton, James Kimv
merly, Olympia, Darrell Kimmerly,
Seattle; a step-daughter, Kerri
Wood, Seattle; two sisters, Carol
Page, Kingston, Betty Hicksou,
Shelton; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests that memo-
rial donations be made to the Am-
erican Cancer Society or to a favor
ity charity.
A memorial service for Mr. Rem-
sberg will begin at 12 pm. Wed-
nesday, Sept. 30, in the Shelton
Bayshore Golf Club, with Ed Mad-
ison oifioiating.
