He retired in 1979 after 22 years at Grapeview School, He was a member of Memorial Luther- an Church in Bremerton, the Washington Education Associa- tion and the Bayshore Golf Club He was a volunteer for the Grape- view Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Elsie A. Zehe of Grapeview; his daugh- ter, Elaine J. Krueger of Los Ala- mitos, California; his son, Joel A. Zehe of Kelso; his brother, Howard Zehe of Roseburg, Oregon; his sis- ters, Esther Winn of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Betty Kuhlman of Sno- homish and Ruth Holmer of Inglewood, Florida; four grandchil- dren and numerous nieces and nephews, The Reverend August Lubke- man officiated at funeral services held March 3 at Memon'al Luther- an Church in Bremerton.
