Frances Pauline Bacon, 85, of Harstine Island, died I‘ue

nd Mary Bailes in Oakland, CA. Frances was raised In Ire
0 County, Ca in the Kings River Canyon area in the Sierra
evada mountains. She married Allen Bacon in Carson City,
NV and always said that her life began when she married Alr
len. The measure of their years together has been through
love, devotion, sharing and nurturing each other A lifetime
for them has not been enough. How long is their marriage.
through eternity Frances enjoyed her marriage with Allen,
did award winning needlework, loved gardening, camping,
oating, fishing and enjoyed her friends,
She spent several years being active in the Grange in local,
ounty and state levels. She was a member of Harstine Island :
Grange since in 1975 were she held the office of Secretary for
5 years and held other offices within the Grange. She held
he Pomona, CA Grange office for 9 years and numerous oilr
r committees.
She is survived by her husband Allen Bacon of Harstine I
and, son Rick ofAnchorage, Alaska, daughter Linda Gilbreath
of Shelton, WA, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and
, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in 1
death by her son Michael in 1982. I
Graveside services were held Thursday July 12, 2007, 11:00 5
am, at the Harstine Island Cemetery with Pas Lor Ken Nielsen L
