Therese Gauthier
Theresé Gauthier, a Shelton
resident for 20 years, died of a
heart attack Monday, October 4,
at her home. She was 72.
She was born February 28,
1927 in Montreal, Quebec, Cana-
da, to Jean and Irene (Gauthier)
Boulé.
She married Guy Gauthier on
July 19, 1947 in Montreal. He
preceded her in death.
Mrs. Gauthier was a home-
maker. She was a member of the
Mason County Senior Activities
Association. She enjoyed plants,
flowers, nature, oil painting, sew-
ing and taking short trips.
She is survived by her sons,
Andre Gauthier of Olympia and
Daniel Gauthier of Shelton;
daughter Carole Payne of Fonta-
na, California; sister Rita Nadeau
of Montreal; grandchildren
Michelle Palmer, Janelle Gauthi-
er, Dennis Payne, Jennifer Payne
and Daryl Gauthier; great-grand-
children Christian Payne and De-
vin Payne; and numerous nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles and cous-
ins.
A memorial mass will be held
at 8 am. Saturday, October 9, at
Saint Edward’s Catholic Church
in Shelton. Inurnment will be at
Shelton Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be
made to Saint Edward’s Catholic
Church, 322 North Third Street,
Shelton.
