Dear Jan,
Enclosed are two early (1934 and 1935) newspaper clippings about Lucie Chase. The photos are
copies of copies of copies, etc. Pat Hathaway's California Views in Monterey probably has some
original photos of Mrs. Chase. Ifyou need additional information, the local history files at the
P.G. Library can help you. Her first home was the large house at the corner of Grand and Ocean
View, which is now the Seven Gables B&B. In 1924 she moved to the home at 1051 Ocean View
Blvd.
