The first owner ofthis structure, according to the County's assessor's records was: Emma Woodrow Other Comments: As you know from the Board & Batten article, this house was moved here from 109 56 Street around 1928/29. I have no other information beyond what is contained in the article. Noted local resident Sarah Parke was the owner ofthe house when it was on 5th street at the time when the house was moved. This subdivision was called the University Addition because there was hope at the time that a University would be built or relocated to the area. Hopkins Marine Station of Stanford University did indeed end up across the street from the subdivision.
