ily to Shelton in

ers on Septem-
ber 12, 1958.

the Washington
State Patrol in 1960 and began his
career with the patrol in Ritzville.
He was transferred to Shelton in
1971. He retired from the patrol
in 1981 as a captain in the patrol‘s
administrative office in Olympia.
Alter leaving the patrol, he
worked a number of jobs, retiring
as Mason County Undersherifl" in
1993. He also worked in security
for the Alaska Pipeline and as di-
rector of security for a cruise line
in Alaska.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, and sisters Joyce Du-
fresne, Virginia Mercer and Jean-
nie Zyler,
Surviving are Wife Leona Dan~
ielson; sisters Margaret Wilson of
Mount Ayr, Mary Ann Barnes of
Randle, Faith Danielson of Ever~
ett, and Iva Lee Bourne of Shelton;
sons Chris Danielson of Bellevue,
David Danielson of La Habra, Cal-
ifornia, and Timothy Danielson of
Olympia; daughters Holly Brazel
of Olympia and Carrie Christian-
son of Lynden; 11 grandchildren,
one greatgrandchild and numer»
ous nieces and nephews
A memorial service will be held
at 1 pm, on Friday, February 24,
at Grace Community Covenant
Church, 5501 Wiggins Road SE,
Olympia.
