Irene Eash died Friday, May 23,
at Fir Lane Health and Rehabili-
tation Center. She was 71.
She was born in Shelton on Oc-
tober 29, 1931 to Roger and Altha
(Betz) Nason.
She married Walter J. Eash in
Olympia. He preceded her in
death in 1969.. ,-. - .... .W, s V
Before she married, "2r she
worked for the Washington State
Department of Licensing.
Mrsl Eash was a member of
Parents Without Partners. She
enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing,
hunting and loved the ocean.
She was also preceded in death
by her brothers John Cassidy,
Philip Cassidy, Albert Nsson and
Roy Nason, and sisters Joycie Na-
son and Beatie Loertscher.
Survivors include her daughter
Debbie Piper and her husband
Steve of Shelton; sons Matt Eash
of Hoodsport and James Eash and
Linda Thunell of Lacey; brother
Irving Nason of Elma; sisters
Dorothy Goodchild and Amy Han-
na of Shelton; grandchildren Tif-
faney Zoller, Aaron Zoller and Ni’
cole Piper of Shelton; brother-in—
law Ernie Loertscher of Elma;
and numerous nieces and
nephews.
A private family service will be
held at a later date.
