B,KE SAFETY CHECK
The Pacific Grove Bicycle Advisory Committee
is sponsoring a free bike check on Sunday,
November 17. 1996, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00
p.m. at Lovers Point (where the Recreation Trail
meets Ocean View Boulevard). Mechanics from
two local bicycle shops, Winning Wheels Bicycle
Shop and Pacific Rim Cycling, will check out
bikes and make service and safety
recommendations. The Pacific Grove Police
Department will also be present to license
bicycles.
Thanks to the Committee for putting together this
very useful and valuable program.
ANNUAL AUCTION
The City will hold its annual auction of
unclaimed property and surplus equipment on
Saturday, November 16, 1996, at 9:00 a.m. at
the Corporation Yard.
Items include 4 vehicles, 49 bicycles, car stereo,
cameras, misc. jewelry, watches and misc.

inspected beginning at 8:30 a.m.
