Thursday, April 17, 2014 — — Page A-28 Margaret McKibbin Margaret Ann “Marge” (Moffitt) McKibbin, 73, a 23-year resident of Shelton, died April 6, 2014, at Provi- dence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was born May 19, 1940, to John and Lila Lee (Brown) Moffitt in Los Angeles. She married Robert McKibbing on Feb. 21, 1959, in Montecito, Calif. Marge worked as a self-employed artist. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, the Sierra Club, Corvettes de Olympia, Tramper Sam RV Club and the Harstine Travel Club. She enjoyed writing and painting. Marge was a pianist, an avid horseback rider and motorcyle rider. She enjoyed sports cars. She is survived by her husband, Robert of Harstine Island; daugh- ters Christina Rosepap (Brian) of Eilbrat, Ariz., and Caroline Rich (Dean) of Shelton; sister Marti Mabti Bowman of Mo- Minnville, Ore.; and five grandchildren Douglas Rosepapa, Thomas Gib- bons, Justin Rosepapa, Erin Rosepapa and John Rich. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine McKibbin, in 1973 and her parents. A memorial will be at 11 am. April 19 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1212 Connection St., Shelton. Pastor Steve Olson will officiate. She will be bur- ied at Harstine Island Cemetery. Arrangements are by Whiteside Family Mortu- ary of Elma.
