Carol] Fa Abeln Former W£§G n resident Carol Fay (Tacket) Abeln died Monday, July 15, at Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville, Oregon. She was 53. She was born February 17, 1949 in Phoenix, Arizona, to Chester and Jean Barbara (Carey) Tacket. She spent most of her adult life in the Northwest and lived in Shelton from 1972 to 1982. She had lived in MeMinnville for the past three months. She married Michael Abeln on April 16, 1999 in Las Vegas, Ne- vada. She enjoyed camping, garden— ing and trips to the ocean. Survivors include her husband, Michael Abeln of McMinnville, Oregon; daughter Stephanie Sa— loum of Aloha, Oregon; son Ron- ald Wilkes of Wishon, California; sister Dianna Drake of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and five grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, July 20, in McMinnville, Oregon. Pastor Arden Kinser officiated.
