Clyde Landsaw
Clyde “Tex” Landsaw, a long,
time resident of Mason County,
died on Saturday, May 10, at
Mother Joseph Care Center in
Olympia.
Born December 11, 1924 in
Corpus Christi, Texas, he was the
son of Clyde and Willie Mae
(Herman) Landsaw.
He graduated from lrene S.
Reed High School in Shelton and
served in the US. Navy during
World War II.
Later, he was a sawyer for a
gyppo logging company. He
played and taught music for
many years in the Shelton-Olym-
pia area.
Surviving him are two sons,
Clyde Landsaw of Shelton and
Jay Landsaw; a daughter, Mar-
lene Hayes of Olympia; a sister,
Iva Cook of Bremerton; and four
grandchildren, Tara, Charlie,
Trenton and John.
H Pastor Doug Hepting will offi-
ciate at a memorial service at 2
p.m. Friday, May 16, at McComb
Funeral Home. Inurnment is at
Shelton Memorial Park. McComb
Funeral Home of Shelton has
made the arrangements.
