died on September 17 in Bremer-
ton.
Mrl Aalvik was born December
26, 1898 in Stevenson, He worked
many years in logging and road
building.
He was preceded in death by his
wife, Ella, of 56 years in 1991‘
Survivors include a son, Ray of
Tahuya; a daughter, Norma Britt
of Bend, Oregon; a stepdaughter,
Dorothy Melloy of Vancouver;
brother, Roy Aalvik of Salem, Ore-
gon; 15 grandchildren and numer-
ous great-grandchildren
Graveside services were held at
Wind River Memorial Cemetery in
