Genevieve Ingham Z ~_,?~ zorw Geneweve Ingham Shelton resident Genevieve “Gen” Ingham, 82, an active vol- unteer with numerous local or- ganizations, died of natural caus— es Tuesday, January 25, She had lived in Shelton for 18 years. She was born December 9, 1917 in Everett to John and Ham nah (Dorgan) Osterman. She married Joseph W, Ing- ham Jr. on December 12, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas. Mrs. Ingham was a homemak- er and also worked as a medical transcriptionist. She belonged to Pioneer Kiwa- nis Club, serving as secretary and president; Beta Sigma Phi sorori- Ty; EidSaint Edward’s Altar So- ciety. She was a volunteer with Providence SoundHomeCare and Hospice and the Lewis-Mason- Thurston Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council. She loved reading, her grand» children and people, her family said. She had a good sense of hu- mor, was very social and loved to serve people, She was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Ingham. She is survived by her hus- band, Joseph Wi Ingham Jri of Shelton; sons Joseph W. Ingham III of Spokane, John Ingham of Billings, Montana, Mike Ingham of Port Orchard and Martin Ing- ham of Helena, Montana; daugh- ters Mary Ingham of San Francis- co, California, Sarah Smith of Oakland, California, and Marga, ret-Diefendorf oful’hoenix, Arizo- na. Also surviving are brother 'John Osterman of Everett; 10 grandchildren, one greatAgreat grandchild and three nieces. A funeral mass was held at noon Monday, January 31, at Saint Edward's Catholic Church in Shelton. Burial was at Shelton Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Providence SoundHome~ Care and Hospice, 2505 Olympic Highway North, Suite 150, Shelv ton, 98584.
