The Tillamook Creamery
About a mile south of town, what is now
12th and Main streets
One of the members of Thayer‘s Combine in 1903. Highest
cheese producer, making 450,679 pounds in 1909. One of
the four to create the Tillamook Cheese Association and
build the main plant.
Holstein Creamery
West side of Third St, just east of
faigrounds, located at Fairview

Located next to the Holstein Factory on
3rd. St. east of Tillamook.
No longer standing.
Built in the 18905. One of the members of Thayer's Combine:
in 1903. Bought by McIntosh in 1904. Turned in to a butter
plant in later years. Once located where the current AAUW
Kindergarten building now stands.
Elwood Creamery Co.
Built on the Donaldson farm on
Donaldson Rd. east of Tillamook
Gone. Burned down.
aka Cold Springs factory (originally), but when McIntosh
bought the factory but not the ground, he changed the heme
from Cold Springs to Elwood. Shipped 188 cases of cheese
in June 1909.
Red Clover Creamery
Located on the south side of Trask
River Rd. at intersection with Long ,

Long Prairie Creamery Co.
Long Prairie Rd., north side of the road
across from blimp hangars.
Torn down.
Built as a private factory originally on the old Rodgers farm.
Later moved east on Long Prairie Rd., not far from Brickyard
Rd.
South Prairie Creamery Co.
Just off Hwy 101 on north side of South
Prairie Rd., across from a little store.

Original South Prairie was down about where the new road
