were from the immediate neigh-
borhood. The afternoon conclud.

Patricia's honor. The group in-
cluded Patricia, her parents and
two brothers; an aunt, Miss Pho-
ten from Monterey; and two un-
cles, brothers of the hostess, Mrs.
Reynolds. They were Cpl. Wesley
"Dub" E. Bush, six weeks return-
ed from Korea and up from Camp
Roberts especially for the party;
and Earl Bush, Jr., here for the
week end from Berkeley.
The afternoon fun began at 2
o'clock with games in. the house
and outdoors, and prizes for the
winners.
Featured entertainment was
music by a Rhythm Band of the
neighborhood youngsters directed
by Mrs. Reynolds.
The gift opening also was of
highlight interest to Patricia and
all her guests. Everyone was wil-
ling to help remove the gay rib.

For Patricia there was also a
second gift opening at the family
birthday dinner.
Center of attention at the fes-
live birthday table were the two
birthday cakes, each alight with
six candles. Paticia puffed out
the candles and made the initial
cuts in the cakes. They were serv-
ed with ice cream, pop, candy,
and other youthful favorite party
fare, with balloons and other fa
vors, and coffee included for ad-
ults.
By the tiine the party was over
the hostess and honoree were
quite well acquainted with all the
guests, although remembering all
the names is something else a-
gain.
Patricia, a first grader, is now
a student at Nocha Buena School.
She was transferred from the
Pine Avenue School in Pacific
Grove.

Girl Scout Troop 273 plan an
afternoon at Skateland in Pacific
Grove tomorrow, February 21.
Members of the troop are 5th
and 6th graders of David Avenue
School and meet regularly at the
school.
The next regular meeting of
the Fellowship will be held on
March 17th at St. Marys-By-The-
Sea Episcopal Church.
The Reverend Bernard W. Low-
ry and H. C. Foxton auended thc
sessions of a Pastorial Convention
held in Connection with the Pa
cific School of Religion at Berke-
ley last week. At this convention
the Earle Lectures were given by
Dr. Halford Luccock an ou·tstancl
ing clergyman in the east. Both
of the Pacific Grove Ministers
feel it was well worth attending.
