Dear Mike:
During the ten-day notice period, we have received no compelling evidence that
contradicts or disputes the information referred to in my July 9, 1996 letter indicating that
the property at 263 Grove Acre Avenue warrants being added to the City of Pacific Grove
historic resources inventory. Therefore, I have added this property to the historic
resources inventory pursuant to Municipal Code Section 23.76.030(a).
This action will be effective at the conclusion of the relevant appeal and call up periods as
described in the following paragraph, provided there is no appeal or call up. The appeal
period concludes at 4:45 p.m. on August 5, 1996.
NOTICE REGARDING APPEALS AND CALL UPS: Tlds action may be appealed or
called up for review pursuant to the following sections of chapter 23.76 ("Historic
Preservation") ofthe Pacific Grove Municipal Code.
23.76.120(b) Actions of the community development director may be appealed to
the planning commission per procedures set out at section 23.70.050.
23.76.120(c) Actions of the community development director may also be called
up for review by the planning commission or city council provided such call shall
be made no later than the next regularly scheduled meeting of the calling body
