Diagonal braces, exposed beams and framing elements were emphasized, along with a rustic informal simplicity. This house is a good example of the style though horizontal siding is not the common siding used in houses of this type. This is amodified version of an emphasis on framing elements - but the house is well preserved and clearly within this particular sjyle's traditions. t 21.
