She died June 16 at Fir Lane Ter-
race Convalescent Center, She
was 89.
She was born in Vernon, Ala-
b‘ama, on September 12, 1905 to
Burton and Jane (Fowler) Barnes,
In her earlier years she lived in
Missouri, where she was active in
the Baptist church.
She enjoyed crocheting
afghans. She was a hard worker
with a strong constitution,
Survivors include her brothers,
Clifton Barnes of Shelton and
Herman Barnes of Earlsboro,
Oklahoma; her sister, Rhoda Den-
nis of Shelton; her caregiver and
close friend, Anita Saeger of Shel-
ton; and numerous nieces and
nephews,
Reverend Bannister will offi-
ciate at services scheduled to
begin at 1 pm. on June 22 at
Shelton Memorial Park, Arrange-
ments are by McComb Funeral

Ms Daniels is survived by two
brothers, Clifton Barnes, Shelton
and Herinan Barnes, Earlsboro,
Okla. ., a sister Rhoda Dennis, Shel-
ton; earegiver and friend, Anita
Saegér, shew; unmerous
