Daisy Underwood
Funeral services were held Mon-
day for Daisy Underwood of Shel-
ton who died January 17 at Fir Lane
Terrace Convalescent Center at the
age of 88.
Mrs. Underwood was born in Sid-
ney, Australia, June 2, 1896. She
married Archie R. Underwood
April 1, 1914. He preceded her in
death in 1969. The Underwoods
moved from the Grays Harbor area
to Shelton in 1943.
She was a member of Faith
Lutheran Church and was active
with the Mary Martha Circle of the
church. She was also a member of
the Dirt Dobbers and the Navy
Mothers Club.
Survivors include her daughter,
Eileen Edinger of Union; her son,
Donald Underwood of Brooklyn,
New York; a sister-in—law, Harriet
Emery of Los Angeles, California;
nine grandchildren; and 13 great-
grandchildren.
Pastor Kenneth Robinson offi-
ciated at the funeral at Faith
Lutheran Church Monday. Burial
followed at Shelton Memorial Park
under the direction of MCCOfl'Ib and
Batstone Funeral Home.
