Roy died at Grays Harbor Com-
munity Hospital in Aberdeen
Wednesday, February 16, follow-
ing a traffic accident, She was 53.
She was born May 24, 1946 in
Seattle to Kenneth P. and Geneva
L. (Stansbury) Owen. She resided
in the Shelton area for four years
She married J. Paul LeRoy on
August 25, 1989 on Vashon Is-
land. Previously, she was married
to Kirk Alan Rose. That marriage
ended in divorce.
She worked in the sales audit
department at N ordstrom and in
payroll at Swedish Hospital, both
in Seattle.
Mrs. LeRoy was a member of
the Cancer Support Group at Ma-
son General Hospital, and the
Hospice at Swedish Hospital.
She enjoyed gardening, beach-
combing, crafts, boating, animals
and traveling. She was also very
involved with the Shelton High
School Naval Junior Reserve Offi-
cer Training Corps Booster Club,
She is survived by her hus-
band, Paul LeRoy of Shelton; son
. Kirk 0. Rose of Shelton; stepsons
. Paul E. LeRoy and R. Andrew Le-
Roy of Seattle; daughter Kimber-
ly L. Rose of Spokane; stepdaugh‘
ters Barbara M. LeRoy of Yuba
City, California, and Kathryn
Mackey and her husband Brad—
ford of Kirkland.
Also surviving are her parents
Kenneth and Geneva Owen of
Lacey; her brother, Richard K,
Stansbury of Idaho; granddaugh-
ter Krystin Rose of Spokane and
grandson Grant L. Mackey of
Kirkland
A funeral was held Wednesday,
February 23, at Hope Chapel in
Shelton. Burial was at Shelton
‘Memorial Park under the direr
tion of McComb Mineral Home.
