He had been a resident of Shelton since 1951. He had been employed in heavy con- struction as a carpentert Before he retired, he helped to build Mason General Hospital. He had been a member of Shelton Faith Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Agnes E. Kangas of Shelton; four sons, Robert L Kangas of Shelton, C. Thomas Kangas of Anchorage, Alaska, David E. Kangas of Olympia and Paul R. Kangas of Shelton; one daugh- ter, Mary Ellen Fuller of Olym- pia; one brother, Ray Kangas, and one sister, Vi Heikkinen, both of Michigan; 13 grandchil- dren; and two greatagrandv daughters. A funeral service will be held at 11 am. Thursday, October '18, at Faith Lutheran Church: Pastor Kenneth Robinson will officiate.
