6. Briefly describe the present physical appearance of the site or structure and describe any major alterations from its original
condition:
This is a large two story home with basement which as windows above ground
on one side of the house. The roofline is divided - on same parts of the
first or second story it is flat and, from ground level, the structure
appears to be a parapet with a cornice line running around the top edge
of the wall. Other parts of the roof are hipped and covered with red tile.
Steps up to the front door lead to a rounded-arch portico. Large paned
rounded-arch windows, add to the spanish colonial revival features of the
home. Other windows are sashed 1/1, made of large square panes of glass -
some of which have a row of much smaller squares of glass on the top or
around the edge. Two corners of the home are shaped as slanted bay windows,
the angles of the wall being continuous from ground level to the top of the
second floor.
